"Ugh, my head is pounding… " Joel says allowed, bringing you screen your tips to his eyes and rubbing them clean before opening them and looking around. Across from him he sees the wooden wall of the boat, no longer is it Excitedly moving up and down like it had been when there were waves flowing the needs it. He brings his hand to his head again before using his other hand to help lift himself off the ground, stumbling for a bit experiencing the most severe hangover of his life. he looks around, spotting the young crewmates from earlier and going up to him, how long was I out?" He asks, his face Gaunt in pale.
"It's been over a day now at least" the teen says in an accent Joel is unable to place. "You drink more than your fair share of grog yesterday,, Same thing happened to me when I did it the first time you'll get used to it."
"Yeah… Thanks. "Joel says, looking over the starboard side of the ship and noticing that they're no longer moving. He looks down and sees that the ship is now docked at a port on a Sandy, palm tree infested island. Putting two into together, Joel looks over at the crewmates "are we on Cinnabar?" He asked.
"Yeah, everyone else is down there on that island apparently the lab is at least a half days walk from here the captain, as seen as he is, he said something about, And I quote, walking until the sand turns into stores and turning the sand into turtles that he can then have Lanius throw at the pidgies to see if they fly. Honestly I don't know how much longer I can follow him, don't tell him I said anything. The rest of the crew and myself stayed back to clean up the ship after his drunken celebration party."
"Okay, well I'm going to go see if I can find them." Joel says, jumping off the side of the ship and onto the dock. "Wish me luck…" He says before vomiting once more and slowly jogging through the sand

THE DAY BEFORE:
A huge ship passes by and pulls into the dock next to the one V and Blue are waiting on. "guess it's not that one either." says V. "I wonder what ship it is as they are already an hour behind schedule." says V with a minor note of annoyance in his voice.
"just be patient man they'll be here in just a few minutes i know it." says Blue optomistically. "The ship is called the Drunken Psyduck so it should be easy to find." says Blue. Just as he utters those words a small sloop with a disoriented Psyduck on it pulls in and docks at the dock V and Blue are on. As the ship comes closer V and Blue stare at the slumped over figure that is captain Dark Blades. He lays in a heap with piles of Grog bottles rolling on the deck with him his pokemon appearing just as drunk. The battered little sloop pulls in and the landing plank comes down.
As V and Blue walk towards the boat V whispers to Blue "What the Fuck man, I thought it was an actual ship not a crappy little sloop!"
"Just go with it man and remember play nice." Blue hisses back.
Stopping a few feet from where the plank ends V and Blue wait patiently as the Crew disembarks. Once the crew is assembled V starts "Welcome my new comrades to Cinnabar Island. I am V co-leader of Team Fire a group similar to team magma. This is Blue my partner and also co-leader of Team fire and we welcome you to the island. On Cinnabar you will see lots of store's and buildings with the team fire emblem as we own quite a few chain stores and restaurants. Later i will have one of our grunts give you VIP access cards that will allow you to eat free of charge and get any merchandise from the team fire stores you want. Please feel free to use our HQ as a home as we have plenty of open bunks available. We also have a present of 10 gallons of Grog for the dear captain there if he ever wakes up and now if you would follow us to the jeeps we will happily escort you to the Lab. Again I hope we can make you feel at home while we are here on Cinnabar and we can work together in the future." Finishes V with a smile and a hand on his holstered gun.

Captain Darkblade appears at the bow of the Psyduck, yawning and stretching. "Ahoy, me mateys!" he bellows, waving excitedly. He jumps down and jogs over to the assembled group, his little Pancham running excitedly along "So this is Cinnabon island, huh? I thought it would be sticky. I hope it tastes good, at least. So, V, I guess you met my crew: Team Puddle, a group quite similar to Team Aqua." he says with a massive grin, congratulating himself on such an exquisite name.
"So, what was your partner's name, again? His grandfather didn't seem to know. I think we should get to vote. I vote DOUCHE. Or, we could each pick a letter! Can I choose Q?" The Captain's clearly gotten himself worked up over the potential for adventure and discovery. Of this strange man's name.

V keeps smiling but everyone can tell he was annoyed by Captain Dark Blade's comment. "No my good captain my partners name is Blue and people call me V and I would prefer you to as well." says V politely but with a thin layer of annoyance laced into his voice. "The island is called Cinnabar Island and no it is not sticky. Now my good captain I hope we can get along so as a present for you My grunts will be unloading the 10 gallons of Grog which our files say you seem to prefer to other forms of alcohol. Also while you are here if you prefer you can use any of the Team Fire's businesses freely such as any of our stores, restaurants, or any of the rooms in the Team Fire HQ which is just up the hill. The HQ has a mess hall, training area, and other basic amenities for your use as well. While we do have a brewery in the HQ we do not have a bar outside of the HQ but feel free to help yourself to that as well if you feel so inclined." Says V with a slightly hostile tone to his voice but a pleasant smile on his face.
"Yes also we can address you as Q if you want but I don't understand why you would want that?" says Blue starring at V with an annoyed look on his face. "Anyway feel free to use our Base as you wish but please don't injure any of the grunts if you decide to train as they will be coming with us when we depart. We need all of them for this task so I hope your vassal has room for the 27 members of Team Fire going on this mission." says blue eying the boat almost doubting it could fit all of them.
"Anyway is there anything we can do for the rest of you?" Asks V turning to the rest of the assembled members of the team

"Cinnibar is just a name you old drunk" Jace says irriated, as he is quite hungover from the night before. He is therefore wearing sunglasses. He sniffs the air "I can smell the rot, but then again, it has been 5 years, and walking corpses don't exactly age well" Jace states with a high degree of bitterness.
He sees Blue and lets a sly grin climb up his face "Hello there, it has been such a long time hasn't it?" Jace says as he loiters against a wall.
"Oh, and Q-man, where are the weapons and Pokemon?" Jace asks, waste no time into getting why he's here "And where is my team?! They told me Amy and Shane would be waiting here!" Jace exclaims.

The young girl directs her attention to V "how high is the activity here; like are your bases really 'safe' to pass for say?" she asks, not really in the mood to talk for it's morning after spending the night on the boat with nearly all drunk; holding the straps of her string pack, hoodie on and up.

The young girl with the Azurill makes it off last as she informs, "Wait! I brought our needed supplies!" She then pulls out a large wagon that has barrels of water. "You know...In case we get dehydrated here."

Axel walks out holding his head his Slakoth dangles off his back as he is getting a ride on this master. Axel turns towards the two men as he lets out a deep breath and walks of happy to finally be off that accursed vessel even if it is only for the time being. "Officer Kaiser at your service," He solutes walking towards V and Q "It would seem this Team Fire has got pretty good set up here, so is there any intel our on the main land?"

"As Captain, I decree everyone must pick a letter than we put it all together and that'll be DOUCHE's name!" The Captain says before nodding, satisfied with his creative solution. "Did you say ten gallons of grog, a bar, and a brewery? 'Tis a party fit for a crew as fearsome as ours, then! Our stores were just running low from our last party, too..." The Captain says before removing yet another bottle of grog from his jacket. He bites of the cap and the foul liquid pours down his big black beard, before he takes a large swig.

"of course that's what the drunk would notice first." mumbles V low enough to not be heard. "Yes indeed My good man feel free to drink all you can. If the rest of you look around you will see that yes this island does have plenty of dead pokemon and people still lingering around but the city is still mostly intact. Thanks to the brave men and women in team fire who patrol the wall and other defenses around the city the city itself enjoys safety and stability for the most part. The city was built on bed rock something not even digging pokemon can get under. There is a massive ditch in front of the walls surrounding the city and these walls are patrolled by team fire grunts. We also have quite a few flying type trainers who station themselves on the towers you see that fend off flying threats and the city has shelters to protect its people in case of emergency. I can assure all of you that Team Fire has this city quite under control and it is perfectly safe." Finishes V a proud look on his face. "As to what intel we have on the main land ... its not much unfortunately. A few weeks back in preparation for the mission ahead we sent in some team fire grunts to do recon on at least the shore area. They flew in on their pokemon and after about three days of scouting they suddenly stopped reporting in. We sent another team in to rescue them only to find their bloody uniforms scattered on the beach. What we do know about the mainland is that it seems that the undead cluster in groups of around 50-250 and are very mobile. we have a report of them moving up to 25 miles per day and they only get more mobile as you go farther in it seems. This intel cost us 5 good grunts so i hope its somewhat useful." says V without a hint of remorse while Blue seems saddened recounting the details. "Now we should hurry to the lab we have wasted enough time here." V says motioning towards the three team fire jeeps parked a few yards away.
Blue chimes in "Yes also the lab is next to the team fire HQ and Jace in the HQ armory is plenty of weapons from guns, to swords, to bows, even crossbows as your file says that is your preferred weapon. It seems you dont have yours so if you wish to replace yours we would be more than happy to spare the equipment to ensure everyone is good to go before we set out. Now if you would all please get into the jeeps behind us we can get going to the HQ and lab." Blue turns and points at two team fire grunts on the docks "you two ressuply the ship with resources and make sure the grog gets on board." With that V and Blue turn and walk back to the jeeps motioning for the others to follow.

"Sounds good to me Blue-man, or should I call you the Q-man?" Jace asks, as he stifles a laugh as Blue glares at his old rival. Then he Jumps in one of the jeeps, taking the wheel. "Ah, life is good right now" Jace says with a grin as the Jeep roars to life. "Hey Axel, April, wanna ride?" Jace asks, while not so subtlely hitting on April.

"So, we have my Q, a V from V, another Q from Jace, a G from April, and a ? from Rebekah. It's nice to meet you, QVQG?." The Captain roars, slapping QVQG? on the back a bit harder than he intended. Not that he noticed. "I can't help but notice you didn't offer your captain a seat, Jace... No matter, I'll take the Captain's chair!" Before anyone can react, Darkblade jumps on the hood of the jeep and strikes a piratey pose and his little Pancham jumps up on his shoulder. They show no signs of moving anytime soon.

V gets out of his jeep and helps Blue back up with a slightly annoyed look on his face. V then turns to look at Captain Dark Blade on the hood of the jeep and gives a exhausted sigh. "Alright Jace since you seem to be driving that jeep with everyone else and your captain on the hood i guess Me and Blue will take the other. Follow us we will lead in the other jeep and please be careful with that jeep." says V. V and Blue get into the lead jeep and start driving with Jace and his jeep following closely. As the jeeps start up the hill V says "Blue I think we might be better off if we ditch that Captain and just go with the others, I mean the guy is crazy look!" says V motioning to the Captain who is still standing on the hood of the jeep even as they race up the hill.
"Now now," says Blue from the passenger seat with a wag of his finger. "You said you would be chill so just keep calm. how about this you play nice till this is all over then we both punch him agreed?" says Blue with a smile on his face.
"Ya ya i get it Blue, im good now." says V relaxing his posture behind the wheel.
AS the jeeps pull up towards the team fire building the Team fire grunts at the gate lower their guns and motion for the lead jeep to approach. After a few words one of the grunts hands V a sheet of paper. The lead jeep idle's there for a minute then Blue waves for the others to approach and the guards open the steel gate and the jeeps pull through towards the compound and lab on the top of the hill. As the jeeps move towards the parking area Jace and the others can see the HQ and lab clearly for the first time. The building is ten stories tall with a giant fire emblem on the front. Towers are stationed at each corner of the 6 acre facility with trainers ready to send their flying types out to engage approaching dangers. The grounds are split between firing ranges, training courses, and mock battle area's with around twenty of so grunts training on the various areas. The Lab is connected to the side of the HQ and both the HQ and Lab are made of solid Concrete with very few windows. The only other building on the premise is the Power station that seems to supply the HQ with power. The jeeps then pull up to the HQ's Entrance. As everyone exits two grunts come out and take the keys driving the jeeps towards the garage.
"Do you think he will be all right?" asks Blue. "The captain was still on the hood and the roof of the garage is only tall enough for the jeeps to fit, if he doesn't get off he will smash into the concrete roof."
"Nah he wouldn't be that crazy." says V calmly. "Im sure he will get off before then."
And then they hear the large whack that captain dark blade makes as he hits the garage roof and falls of the jeeps. As everyone just stares Captain Dark Blade jumps to his feet seeming to not even notice the giant hit he just took and runs over to join them looking no worse for the wear.
